Heineken
Heineken, one of the world’s biggest brewers, required a single token for authentication of all employees and visitors, using one single database, connected to various subsystems throughout the company’s network. Bell ID® Identity Token Manager enabled Heineken to introduce a multi-application smart ID-card without the need to replace all existing subsystems. Some 10,000 employees currently use these multi-application smart ID cards, which also support contactless Mifare technology at various company sites.
The Heineken Company Card has 3 different access control systems activated, 2 electronic purse systems, a time and attendance application, a laundry application and the Shell Easypay system for electronic payment of petrol. Throughout the organization, Heineken disposed of several photo studios and personalization units thanks to Bell ID® Identity Token Manager
