Pat's heritage is in building successful software and technology businesses, including Bell Group plc, which he floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1999. He was named London's Master Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003. His strategic vision, experience and knowledge is helping to shape Bell ID's growth, market presence and strategic goals.

 

David Orme

David Orme

Chief Executive Officer

David graduated from Leeds University with a business degree in 1985;before starting his career with Thorn EMI and its electronic security subsidiary. In 1992, David joined Bell Security Limited and together with the founders successfully took the company through IPO with a full listing on the UK Stock Exchange in 1999 - the listed entity being Bell Group plc. David joined Bell ID in November 2007 and will focus on organic growth through business development, sales and marketing.

Igno Peters

Managing Director

Having worked with the company since its inception, Igno has been Managing Director of Bell ID since 2001. Igno holds a Masters degree in Management Studies and has a wealth of experience within the company.

Oliver Burke

Oliver Burke

General Manager Business Development

Oliver joined Bell ID in 1999 with the task to transfer the company from a regional market leader into a global market leader for card management solutions. During his professional career at Bell ID, Oliver has been the architect of several strategic government and financial deals and extended Bell ID’s market reach by establishing a solid partner network and strategic alliances all over the world. Prior to joining Bell ID, Oliver completed a ‘Diplom Engineer’ (equivalent to a Masters degree) in Business Planning and Coordination. 

Martin Cox

Martin Cox

Commercial Director

Martin has been involved in the ‘card business’ for more than 17 years with more than 10 years experience in smart cards and a focus on multi-application smart card management since 2000. After a long career at Datacard in both technical and commercial roles, he joined ACI as part of the smart card team. Subsequent to this he became Director of Partners and Alliances with Cards Etc, before finally joining Bell ID in 2002

Erik Wellen

Erik Wellen

General Manager Middle East 

Erik joined Bell ID in the late '90s and since then has worked for the company in various roles. Erik was responsible for defining the current CAMS product based on the experiences he gained in various projects and in his former role as Product Manager ANDiS Applications. Between 2004 and 2008, Erik was responsible for the Professional Services side of the Bell ID business. Currently, Erik is General Manager for the Middle East and manages all commercial and partnership opportunities in the region. Erik holds a MSc degree in Law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and an MBA (OneMBA) from Rotterdam School of Management. 

Chris Harvey

Financial Controller

Chris has been overseeing Bell ID's finances since Pat Curran bought the company in 2005. Aside from his work with Bell ID, Chris is Chairman of Envirostream Holdings Ltd. and Director and Company Secretary of FSI (FM Solutions) Ltd. He graduated from Bristol University with a BSc in Economics and Accounting before completing his professional qualification in chartered accountancy (ACA) with Price Waterhouse Coopers in London. Since then, Chris has built up impressive experience in both finance and management. 

Jan Dart

Jan Dart

Advisory Director

Jan has been involved in the IT and Payments arena for nearly 30 years. He has held a variety of technical and business development roles both in the UK and overseas.
Jan combines his non-exec role at Bell ID with his continuing position as Head of Business Solutions at Monitise plc, the leading global provider of mobile banking and payments technology.
