In co-operation with Gemplus, one of the leading suppliers of smart cards, Bell ID has implemented its ANDiS^© Management System TSA. This ANDiS^© platform is being used to enable the centralised management of smart ID cards for employees nationwide. A prototype of the system has been tested at a variety of enrolment offices in seaports, airports, rail, pipeline, trucking and mass transit facilities. Some 200,000 employees participated in the prototype and around 6 million cards are expected to be issued in subsequent phases of the project.
