Bell ID Signs Contract With CUETS in Canada
02 November 2006 (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) - Bell ID has expanded its market leadership in Canada as a second Canadian financial institution (CUETS) selects ANDiS4EMV software for multi-phase migration to smart card technology.
Bell ID, worldwide technology leader in the field of smart card management solutions, announced today that it has signed a contract for the provision of a full EMV migration solution to CUETS.The ANDiS4EMV solution provided to CUETS combines the management of card, key and application life-cycles with EMV script processing used for the generation, management and delivery of scripts to update cards dynamically post issuance, and for secure management of offline payment risk. The ANDiS solution, which will facilitate the issuance of millions of EMV-compliant MULTOS StepOne cards, furthermore provides a comprehensive key management system, data preparation functionality and a platform for post-issuance personalization.
CUETS, which provides a complete range of advanced payment systems and services to credit unions, caisses populaires and other financial organizations will use ANDiS to issue and manage several different card products. The contract between Bell ID and CUETS includes professional services, software and local support.
