Further to the successful implementation of the Identrus project in 2000, Bell ID delivered a Token Management System to ABN AMRO for the life-cycle management of digital certificates and their bearers (e.g. smart cards and servers – “tokens”). The certificates are generated by the bank’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). ABN AMRO and Bell ID will jointly undertake the configuration and implementation for any future token and smart card-related project within the bank.
