Bell ID, the leading technology provider of smart card and mobile management solutions, today announced the successful upgrade of its ANDiS Management System at the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) to further enhance the security and life cycle management capabilities of the Resident Identity Cards. This upgrade was done in close cooperation together with Siemens and Giesecke & Devrient, the same consortium that was responsible for the initial project back in 2002.

Today Bell ID announced that it will be providing its smart card management software to the newly established retail division bank of BancABC to secure, manage and personalise its Visa EMV cards in all five sub-Saharan operating countries.

Bell ID, a leading provider of smart card management systems, has been chosen to provide its I-PIN solution to Home Trust Company, one of Canada’s leading trust companies.  Home Trust will use Bell ID’s EMV PIN change application to allow its EMV cardholders to securely choose and change their PIN online via Home Trust’s website, simply using a PC/SC smart card reader issued by Home Trust and any computer with an internet connection.

Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS) has signed an agreement with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to supply a card management system for the Rijkspas, the new multifunctional card for Dutch civil servants. The solution, ANDiS4Rijkspas, relies on commercial software by Bell ID and meets all of the requirements defined by the National Government.
