For over 20 years, Bell ID consultants have supported chip card, smart token and digital credential projects worldwide. This includes experience across all of Bell ID’s primary markets; Finance (EMV, e-purse, etc.), Identity (National, Health, Corporate, etc.), and Mobile (TSM, Payments, Transit, Ticketing & ID). Bell ID has supported international schemes, national programmes, consortium and individual institution projects, in a variety of chip implementation, EMV migration, ID credential management, certification authority, and NFC initiatives.
Bell ID consulting support includes:
- Educational – Seminars and workshops designed to educate and update organisations on the latest technical and business opportunities related to a specific industry or technology.
- Strategy – Workshops to assist an organisation in formulating an appropriate strategy to enter a new market, successfully migrate technology (e.g. magnetic stripe cards to Chip & PIN), or extend services (e.g. add Mobile NFC support).
- Programme & Project Management – Provide suitably experienced key individuals to initially set up a project, and potentially help manage the successful delivery of the project through to completion.
- Subject Matter Expertise – Provide suitably experienced consultants to support business, technical, and operational aspects of an initiative, e.g. business analysis, specification development, testing & certification planning, process mapping, and procedure development.
Bell ID’s consulting approach is to agree with a client on a tailored consulting engagement, based on an organisational skills gap analysis. Bell ID then provides the right level of support, in terms of people and skills, to ensure successful delivery of a project. For different customers, this has included purely advisory roles, periodic project reviews, experienced and expert support in defining specific key project deliverables, right through to providing consultants and project managers to support key roles for the duration of the project.
